Bennifer II I can't control the actions of Jennifer Garner. (If I could, that would open up some interesting possibilties.) But I wish someone would have intervened on her behalf before last weekend. Reports are that on Saturday, Ben Affleck proposed to Garner after her 33rd birthday party. She got a $500,000, 4.5-carat Harry Winston engagement ring, somewhat of a downgrade from the 6.1-carat pink diamond ring from Winston that Affleck got Jennifer Lopez. I suspect that JG is either weak-minded or very suggestible. Whoever plays her boyfriend on screen becomes the target of her affections. Scott Foley in Felicity? Check. Michael Vartan in Alias?
