I was going to go to the Silcon Valley Blogger's dinner tonight in San Jose/Santa Clara but the best laid plans always seem to never pan out for me lately. I'm sick with a fever. Ok, I know how I got sick and the night was worth it but still I'm sick and icky.
And the shower is still sinking...landlord has been called because the only way to see what is going on is to basically rip out the tiles and the floor boards and the existing tub which means smashing it from what I've read and heard from many people...so maybe I can talk my landlord into install just a shower and moving the toilet to a different location and overall expanding my bathroom a smidge...but not this weekend..I'm too sick...hopefully it won't completely collapse til next weekend...
I found this cool little thing called the web fire escape, have you ever been caught reading your blog at work or someone else blog at work? Now you can click on the web fire escape icon and go to an innocent looking page, or at least you can from my blog..
And I finally got up the nerve to call a friend that I hope is still a friend? I left a voicemail which I erased three times before finally just spitting out what I wanted to say and sending it. I don't know if he'll call me back. I have no idea if we are even still friends, but I would like to be. Lets start over..go out for a drink and talk..what do you say?
