My landlord gave me essentially a 30 day notice yesterday, he is selling the property - putting it on the market in 5 weeks..which is April 1st (april fools day - the irony). He wants me to buy it but the only way I could afford to pay 399K for this place is to triple the rent of the current tenants in the main house and double my rent in this little cottage and I'm tired of living in this little place....so maybe its a sign that I've outgrown my space and need to move on....
but with 5 cats, a mouse and a fish..i'm never going to find a place that will rent to me (ok maybe never is a strong word - but almost impossible) so the next idea is to buy. I can't afford anything more than 250K and that is if I pay mins on my credit cards for one year, then my car will be paid up or if I can get a debt consolidation loan rolled up in my mortgage loan to pay off the car and the credit cards then I could afford a little more on the mortgage..(i guess maybe i should see if I can get pre-qualified for a loan first)
either I rent for one more year at double what I'm currently paying and wait for the car to be paid off, save some money and then buy or just buy now but I wanted a home not a condo..either way I have 1 month to come up with 2000.00 to move in an apt or a down on a house..anyone have 2000.00 i can borrow????
I'm a little stressed...and where do I move? I like Benicia, its close to work or Oakland/Berkeley..its reverse commute and I can't afford Pleasant Hill. I know that magick happens and i will find a place to move too and I will somehow come up with 2000 to move..but right now, i'm freaking a little...
