First the toilet overflowed, leaving a foot of water in the bathroom + the hallway and part of the bedroom carpet soaked and smelly. I immediately turned off the water and went over to the property managers, they said they would call maintenance for the toilet and get the carpet cleaner over on Sunday to soak up the water....maintenance guy came over to fix toilet, no clogs, just a water saver toilet that tends to run. So I waited all day today, no carpet cleaner, I had things to do but waited at home for the carpet cleaner - I don't want them here with the cats alone, scare the hell out of my cats, no way without me being here....so no carpet cleaner and no call from the property manager, now I know they really don't care here about the people. At least a phone call would have been nice, courtesty, something. I can't walk through my hallway which connects the rest of the house to my bedroom without getting my socks soaked or having to put on shoes...I called and left a message early this afternoon for the property manager, walked over there (honestly how long does it take to show a place - 4 hrs - the guy took off early), called the emergency maintenance guy - who couldn't help me and called and left a message again for the property manager, now I have to call and talk to them tomorrow..
so I finally had the time to configure my new laptop and guess what, the wireless card is missing. I called the friend I bought it from, he pissed me off, told me to call Dell. So I called Dell, they couldn't help me because the laptop isn't registered to me or my friend, he bought it from someone else, lets add to my source of stress today...so I call my friend back, who calls his dealer and apparently they forgot to put it in? Don't people check these things to make sure all parts are included before selling them?
Damn, I'm still pissed off !!!! and need to work some more on a project and am so angry I could scream. I just want someone to call me back..why the hell is that so hard? I ruined 5 towels and 2 rugs on the overflow. Yes I could wash them but ick, I'd rather just go get new things...
maybe a hot shower, relax and breath will help, I just wish I could figure out how to dry the carpet? If I owned the house, I'd probably just rip it up, actually I probably wouldn't had this problem to begin with.
I never feel like there is enough time in the day anymore, by 5pm, I'm getting antsy, like I have so much to do and not enough time to finish it all..does starting your own business do this to someone? Nothing ever seems to get done or go right in my personal life..clients-yes, me-no
