i'm sitting here waiting for a phone call back to finish one little entry to get a file back to a client and the more and more I sit and stare at the phone - its never going to ring. I was suppose to be out in the city today to meet with Daniel and work on a client's server restructuring but looks like we're going to have do it over the phone..update, he said this weekend is better for him, oh thank you, much better for me too..i'm never going to get out of here today, what started as a few little items to clean up has taken over 5 hours to complete and I just need to do one more little thing and its done
...then take a shower but alas my water is currently turned off because the landscape guy is hooking up the sprinklers system which brings me to my next topic
..finally found a landscaping company to finish my front yard, another 1000.00 + the price of sod and it should be complete by the end of next week....YEAH!!! Interesting twist, I hired the guy that originally bid on the job and now I know, I should have just hired him in the first place and it would have cost me alot less..lesson learned, never hire someone that tells you 2000.00 + cost of materials because you never know how much those extra materials are going to cost you - could end of being ripped off like I was and by a so-called friend
..and then I need to plant the flowers around the tree and put a planter border on the property line which i'm think is going to be these cute edible plants
 
...and maybe a plant box/border along the front of the house too with roses and with a little mint or strawberries through in the mix or maybe some other edible flowers
..and then the last little thing to do with the yard is to complete the slate walkway..the landscape guy is going to dig out the area and put in the gravel and then I'll do the rest
