Leonardo da Vinci: "Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen."

The last couple of days before flying to Milan, way too early on Saturday morning, are pretty hectic. I was asked to play guitar on a song this week, which I was going to record in my own studio, but my new ProTools rig is still acting up, and I spent a lot of time working bugs out and testing stuff. At the same time I am trying to find enough time to practice on my Sahlin Flamenco guitar, because it has a different string length and spacing than my DeVoe, which I had been playing since October.....But I feel the Sahlin might be better for recording mostly rhythm guitar for a pop record. I am not looking forward to flying, but I am looking forward to waking up Monday within throwing distance of the Duomo in Milano.
