Paul Im and Remember Rockefeller Returns to Regattabar October 8

Saxophonist, Paul Im, and his acoustic jazz octet, Remember Rockefeller, will make their third appearance at the Regattabar on Wednesday, October 8, 2003, with shows at 8:30 pm and 10 pm. The highly acclaimed band has performed at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, The Berklee Performance Center and the Jazz Bakery in Los Angeles, and has featured such big name artists as Hiromi and Walter Beasley among many others. Remember Rockefeller features the neo-classical compositions of master jazz composer, Jonathan Price, and the highly versatile and powerful horn section led by saxophonists Charles Lee and Ian Rapien. Vocalist Jeremy Ragsdale of the jazz vocal group, Syncopation, will also perform.

Paul Im is the President of Jazz Revelation Records, a non-profit record label that supports and develops young jazz musicians, and the first jazz record label sponsored by Berklee College of Music. He has studied and worked with renowned saxophonists Eric Marienthal, George Garzone, Bill Pierce and Fred Lipsius of Blood, Sweat and Tears.
