Podcasting and CATS
I am going to be presenting on
RSS and Podcasting this week at CATS 2005.
This is a statewide conference of Academic Technology professionals. I
have my
powerpoints here. These are
actually down level
versions, as I have already updated the presentation
with new information. This is my first time presenting in a conference
and I am nervous as, well, a cat! Any suggestions are welcome.
On the road again
Tomorrow I hit the road again
to go to another conference. My final presentation is on Friday, so I
won't be home until Friday night. Meanwhile, my family starts arriving
on that day as the build up begins for my sister's memorial on the
following Tuesday. My cold has not abated much, meanwhile, I am still
pretty miserable. Today I found that my one hour presentation is going
to be 1.5 hours. So, tonight I've been working like a mad dog to expand
the presentation.
Just a cool train picture
I took this photo last week on
my trip south. The new Nikon is a superb picture taker. Using it my
300mm lens becomes like a 425mm. Too cool!
Shadow still hanging in there
Our sweet kitty Shadow is
spending the night at the vets. They are doing an endoscopy to try to
determine what type of bowl disease he has. We have spent a ton of
money and cried a lot of tears over this little guy!
