"Conversation. What is it? A Mystery! It's the art of never seeming bored, of touching everything with interest, of pleasing with trifles, of being fascinating with nothing at all. How do we define this lively darting about with words, of hitting them back and forth, this sort of brief smile of ideas which should be conversation?" Guy de Maupassant

Instructions for submitting to the Blog Mela (adapted from Vinod's blog):

  • Please send your nominations to me latest by Thursday, October 2nd, 11:59pm Indian Standard Time.
  • The entries have to be dated between September 26 - October 2.

Some Guidelines - adding a twist of my own :

  1. Posts must either be made by Indians or focus on India or Indians.
  2. Send in permalinks to the individual blog entries only, not just the URL. If the permalink is not working, send me the title and date of the blog entry.
  3. You can nominate your own posts or someone elseís
  4. You can submit any type of posts, although I'd particularly like to focus on articles and posts about "Developmental Issues relating to Technology in India - this can cover IT, telephony, science and medicine, even new technology thats making a difference in areas like arts, research, media, advertising and marketing".  This time round, humour me, and lets stay away from political rants :) so we can introduce ourselves to a new set of bloggers.
  5. For more on the Blog Mela, hereís gyan from a founderís blog. Also check what varnam wrote a long time ago. The earlier melas are archived here.

Looking forward to your material!

The more nominations, the richer the output - or then its just going to be my views !
