Scavengers Imported to Dispose Dead I just saw a horrific report on TV that in Nagapattinam, one of the worst affected districts in Tamil Nadu, there aren't enough people to clear dead bodies and those that are helping are hesitating to do so. Indian Government Plans to Install Tsunami Early Warning System The Indian government has announced plans for installing a tsunami early warning system in the wake of the Indian Ocean disaster. "If the country had had such an alert system in place, we could have warned the coastal areas of the imminent danger and avoided the loss of life," said Kapil Sibal, India's minister of state for science and technology."
