Need to answer the "What is a Weblog" Question. I have been meaning to write that basic article to answer the questions that keep coming up these days....... "What is a Weblog"......Looks like I don't have to do it....here is a nice set of articles that address this exact question.

The whole site looks like a valuable resource.......Weblogs Compendium - Definitions [Use and Abuse of IT]
Now I really have to get a search engine on this blog. Did I post this resource before or not?
BTW, Jim, you need to proofread your postings. This one was a mess. :-)

About.com adopts a Blogging Model. About.com, a commercial portal site of over 400 web topical guides hosted by experts and enthusiasts, has adopted a Moveable-Type blogging model on the front page of each guide. [SiteLines - Ideas About Web Searching]
My students often use About.com, but it's not usually a tool that I recommend, since I find it very annoying. Rita of SiteLines tells me in this post that I'm not the only one, but she also points out some very good features, including this new front page interface. Now that I can, I'll be subscribing to several of the guides.
