in the MTS days.

grap m_spObjectContext

m_spObjectContext->CreateInstance(CLSID_AccountingService,IID_IAccountService,(void**)&pAccountingService);

Enter COM+ days. context flow now part of com runtime.
CComPtr<IAccountingService> pAccountingService;
pAccountingService.CoCreateInstance(CLSID_AccountingService);

.NET remoting migration to Indigo (client part)
Today we do this:
RemotingConfiguration.Configure("Client.Config");
Accounting accounting = new Accounting();

Enter Indigo....ahh let's wrap this up (again) in the ServiceManager.CreateProxy....looks like we back to the MTS paradigm
Accounting accountingService = ServiceManager.CreateProxy<Accounting>();

Enter Indigo ver. 2 in 2005.

Accounting accounting = new Accounting(); // and back to square one

hey this style works every time :).

what sux is the migration from WSE to Indigo "%&¤"#@!", looks like WSE really was for early adopters, bommer.

So we sold our great old house and moved to this hill billy hickup town called Aarslev, 1 street 2 schools and a train station. What's great here is actually the schools, they are small less than 500 kids, everybody knows everybody. This was what we where looking for....except we planned moving next year around August or so, but no such "luck". It took 6 dazzling days, then our great good old house was sold...ok what ever, so we re-schedule, adjust the plan a bit. We found this great new house in hill billy town here, my wife was jumping up and down and the kids loved it, so after the laughter down at the Bank faded out and the contract was signed the day came ... I said goodbye to my mother in law and opened the door to our new home. I immediately noticed this futuristic closet as I opened the frontdoor, didn't really paid attention to it previously, but here it was...my very own Intelligent House Control panel....this is cool, I can actually make coffee via a web-service thanks to IHC. The house is prepared for all sorts of future installments, like ADSL/TV/Radio connections in all rooms...oh I am gonna have me some fun with this. Only drawback today is..the previous owner didn't have a clue about all this, example if I turn on the bedroom light upstairs, the power to my ISDN box goes out !!! sigh. Lucky for me a friend of mine have the software for IHC...he did remind me to take a backup of the current IHC setup, before starting to personalize the IHC :).
