Oops, did I just skip over a whole load of posts by not pushing the publish button? That's exactly what I was failing to make work last time around. I guess in the name of transparency (another unstated goal of this project) I'll need to go back and repost to the public list. VIZ 2 long posts, chocolate ice cream, and "every bloody time."

Do I really want the hour and minute of my post listed every bloody time?

It's 3:00 a.m. Hence the different nature of the posts. Didn't know that the Dreyers chocolate ice cream would act quite so convincingly as chocolate ice cream.

Still boggled by how to use this: as a diary? a scratchpad? stream of consciousness? a very deliberate presentation/creation of self? Dave Winer goes to Harvard and suddenly he's stimulated Harvard professors to start weblogs. This is transformation of some high order (perhaps). The results are certainly very readable. But mine? I don't know how to put links in. My writing style comes from years of fountain pen scratching in canvas-bound journals. I know there was a huge influence from Neil Postman when he wrote in "Teaching as a Subversive Activity" that people needed to be taught to ask questions. My journal ever since has been full of question marks.

I still don't know how to do links, so I hope I can come back and add those later.
