Here's the best thing to do when one of your sites gets banned or dropped by the search engines:

Get angry!

In the past, if a site of mine got dropped or pushed so far down in the listings that it may as well not exist, I moped around the house for weeks feeling sorry for myself and my lost income -- screaming out "why me!" over and over, and generally acting like a big cry-baby.

I now realize, thanks to the sage advice of James Martell, that the opposite reaction is what is called for in a situation like this -- Get ANGRY, then use that rage as motivation to build 3 or 4 NEW sites to replace the one you just lost.  If you do this every time, your income will actually go UP in the long term.  Channel that rage and frustration into creative energy that is useful instead of letting it eat away at you.

Can you guess that one of my good earners just disappeared from the search results?  I'm off to build 3 new sites in the next week...
