Our Friend's Mother
Our friend's mother was having a lot of problems with arthritis. She
was to the point where she couldn't even pick things up or turn a
doorknob. My wife mentioned to our friend that glucosamine and
chondrotin can help with arthritis in some cases.
Our friend decided to try it with her mother, in a kind of desparation
state I guess. It worked. The mother's arthritis disappeared
within about a week, so our friend kept it up.
Recently, the mother moved into a senior center. She really likes
socializing with all the people there. However, the senior center did
not follow our friend's instructions to give her mother the glucosamine
and chondrotin. The arthritis came back with a vengeance. Our friend
tried to convince them to give her mother the minerals, but they
initially refused. Our friend finally found a way to get it to
her mother each day, and now the arthritis is gone again. The
senior center employees are in total denial. "It must have been this or
that or that, couldn't have been the glucosamine and chondrotin."
Oh, I forgot to mention. Our friend is 67. Her mother is 94. Everyone is doing well.
Here's an informative site on glucosamine and arthritis.
