Lions maul upstart Saints
Brisbane have arrested their recent goal-kicking woes and leapfrogged St Kilda into second spot on the AFL ladder at the same time with a dominant 45-point win over the Saints at the Gabba on Sunday. Flamboyant midfielder Jason Akermanis kicked six goals for the Lions who overcame a sluggish start to romp to a 20.10 (130) to 13.7 (85) triumph. [More]
