Mark Pilgrim shares an xfmllib library for Python, and explains XFML in a way that a human can understand. The eXchangable Faceted Metadata Language helps to organize information in a similar way to standard weblog categories, except that each nugget can belong to multiple categories, or facets at once. Searching for intersection of several facets allows for much quicker retrieval of data. [Marek's Weblog]
