Happy Independence Day!! My first fourth of July was really wonderful (and hectic!). We started the day by going to a great little parade out in Natick, Mass., with our friend Betty. Celia had a blast, and the parts I was awake for were really fun. Then we went to Betty's house for a while and had brunch. I got lots more quality cuddling time with Betty, while Celia pursued her water fascination in Betty's little wading pool. Then we went on to our friend Bob's house for a barbeque with great food (so people said . . . you know what I ate) and FOUR greyhound dogs. Wow! Celia and her friend Ailey were in heaven playing with them. It is such fun to watch Celia and Ailey together -- they are so sweet with each other. When we finally got home, Celia and both were so tired that we just crashed together on Celia's bed. The last thing I remember dad saying to us was how totally adorable we were.
