Smiling, Cooing, and (Kinda) Holding My Head Up
Such progress the last few days. All the baby calisthenics I've been doing must be paying off. Mom and dad say I smiled a few times yesterday (though they also said something about a "double chin" -- I can't imagine what that's all about). And I am making lots of little cooing noises and lifting and holding my head up a lot, and for a long time. Dad keeps complaining that my neck and back are so strong I almost roll off his shoulder when he is burping me. Hee hee.
Yesterday was really fun. We all went out to this nice little pond in some state forest north of Boston for a barbeque to celebrate the third birthday of Mercedes, one of Celia's friends from school. People ooohed and aahed over me while Celia splashed around in the water and made a huge mess of herself digging in the sand.
