I'm A Real California Girl Now! I guess I have been properly initiated now . . . . We spent the weekend in "the Wine Country," as they call it around here -- specifically the wonderful Russian River Valley. It was their annual Grape to Glass weekend, a celebration of local Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (mom and dad let me smell some -- neither Celia or I can figure out what all the fuss is about). But we still had a great time. We went to a big barbeque among the vineyards, I got to see grapes growing up close all over the place, and Celia and I had so much fun just lying on the grass and being silly. Celia also had a blast pretending to drive a little tractor and running barefoot through this giant field of grass. 11:18:26 PM
