After spending most of the winter at fishing expos, boat shows and the
like, it's hard to believe there's only one to go, but this one is the
daddy of them all - the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports Show at State
Fair Park. It opens tomorrow for a 10-day run, and I'll be there both
weekends and Wednesday night. Look for the Outdoor Wisconsin booth
inside the west entrance down the hallway to the left. You'll see our
raffle boat and booth, where we will be playing recent Outdoor
Wisconsin broadcasts on our HD-TV monitor.
This weekend, the Johnson clan [^] Wayne, Tony, Bruce and Trevor [^] will
be there with me. They will be filleting fish all weekend to
demonstrate the Fillet King fillet and cutting board. I'll present
cooking demos three times each day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on the
Usinger's Cooking Stage right across the hall from our display. Stop by
for a taste of salmon and pick up a raffle ticket for our Crestliner
16-foot Canadian, Mercury 25-hp four-stroke outboard and ShoreLand'r
trailer, set up for us by Cedar Lake Sales in West Bend. The boat comes
with an Eagle locator and a custom mooring cover from Thill Marine and
Upholstry in Sheboygan. We'll draw the winning ticket at 5:00 p.m. on
Sunday, March 19, the last day of the Sports Show.
Hope to see you there!
Later...
