(l-r) Booth Babes Sue Liedtke, Linda Scherr and Nancy Hiemer yuk it up with me at the Madison Fishing Expo today. We're all wearing Big Guy Hats hand-crafted by Jeff Kahlow, of Fond du Lac. You can pick up one of Jeff's hats in our booth here at the Expo or order directly from Jeff. Check out his website or call him at (920) 923-0004.

Come on down to the Expo tomorrow and show me your technique for filleting panfish. Bring your fish, or help fillet ours!

Dick Brandt, a DNR fisheries technician, showed Madison Fishing Expo attendees how to fillet a northern pike and remove the notorious "Y" bones tonight. Dick used two Fillet King® fillet and cutting boards joined end-to-end to do the job on this 34-inch northern for a big crowd that gathered in front of the Outdoor Wisconsin booth at the Expo.

The Fillet King® is the only modular fillet board on the market. It allows you to fillet any size fish and holds the fish in place without a clamp. Come on down the the Expo this weekend and try it for yourself. Bring a northern, a walleye or a mess of panfish and join me in our booth. You show me how you fillet them, and I'll show you my technique. We might even have a race to see who can do it the fastest!

And then we'll cook up your fish and let you enjoy them!

See you at the Expo!

Joey Steinman of Janesville brought some bluegills he caught today to the Outdoor Wisconsin/Fillet King® booth at the Madison Fishing Expo, where he showed me his technique.

Here's the deal: bring your catch to the Expo and we'll help you fillet them in our booth.

No kidding.

We want to show you how well the Fillet King® handles fish of all sizes, so bring us your catch. We'll even fry them up for you, if you like, using the Legendary Northwoods breadings.

I'll be here all day Saturday and Sunday, so catch some fish, put 'em in a cooler full of snow and bring 'em on down to the Expo!

Wait 'til you see the next photo!
