Good to Great is a lot more interesting than I originally gave it credit. I left my notes in the car, but it's a worthwhile book and concept. Mainly what stuck with me is that really people don't get to great, because they settle for Good. It makes sense, I just hadn't made that connection in my head. I think we have to decide which things we want to be great at and give those are all. And for other things, good is a fine goal. What things do I want to be great at? Some other book/magazine I was browsing through mentioned that to find your happy-job (no, it didn't call it that) you should take your Goal + Passion + Values...how in the heck do you do that? Okay, I'll try....
Goals = $$, uniqueness, self-managed Passion = People, processes, efficiency Values = People again, Ideas
Oh, I have it...BrainTrust.
Scott, can I steal braintrust?
