Gone Fishing Gives Learning a New Meaning in Cabot [Arkansas.gov] - (warning - the link is a PDF) -
Cabot's the town where I went to elementary school, so this was fun to read. I have to admit, I haven't been fishing since I moved north, but it sure sounds appealing...and like a fun task kids to do:
We believe young people need chances to 'get away' from the stresses of daily life, just like adults, while learning more about nature. Fishing gives them that opportunity. It is an excellent sport that teaches values and responsibilities that come with appreciating – and protecting – our natural resources," she said. "And," she added, "it's lots of fun!"

Halley pointed to a great article on the upcoming happenings in the job market: USATODAY here. It's worth the quick read. I think companies lose focus of their workers and don't realize how much it hurts to lose good workers over-time:
Human-resource experts will tell you the real costs of employees opting out are deep, systemic and long term. The reason is simple: The best people always leave first, because they have the most choices. After the best people leave, the second-rate people get promoted — and they have a tendency to hire and promote third-rate people. Follow this to its logical conclusion, and you can see how once-great companies gradually slide into mediocrity and then failure.
