I am a veteran (read old) software developer (of sorts) -- a Microsoft MVP, an E-Learning/CBT developer and business owner. How did I get here? Robert Scoble (well if he can name drop so can I) has been a friend for a number of years (even though I have only met face to face with him a few times).
