Virus/Scam Emails

It seems like virus/scam email is getting more devious. Two recent emails caught my eye.

One that purports to be an email from Ebay sending me to this page (in case it is gone -- it looks remarkably real and asks for bank account numbers, pin numbers, credit card numbers and verification codes). The original email also uses the url hiding bug.

The second is a short email with a virus or trojan payload attached that is apparently from someone I know (Robert Scoble to be precise). The strange thing about this email is that uses an email address that he hasn't used in almost two years but was used in newsgroup postings before that. I was also using the email address that the email was sent to around the same time in the same venue. All I can guess is that either a person or a bot is matching up email addresses from the same time and venue and attempting to increase their chances of fooling somebody.
