Yasser Arafat's Cause of Death

There has been wild speculation about Arafat's cause of death. I have seen theories that it was AIDS, poison (though French doctors seemed to have categorically ruled that out). I have also seen speculation that he was moved to France, essentially to die so that the cause of death would not become public (French medical privacy laws are especially strict it seems).

Without solid information the conspiracy theories will obviously spin. What could it be? Radiation(maybe that would not meet the French doctor's definition of "poisoning"?)? AIDS (I think that unlikely)? Accidental poisoning (would that be ruled out by the doctor's statements?)?

Perhaps he died of a gunshot or stab wound? No one has categorically ruled that out as far as I know. Or perhaps it was just "organ failure"? He was after all not a young man.

But why the secrecy around the cause of death? Perhaps the secrecy is a political ploy?
