Another season of F1 racing is beginning (a couple of practices complete in Australia). Seems like a weirder start than I remember what with Minardi trying to get court orders to run cars that are not up to spec, Coulthard at Red Bull and Massa at Sauber looking especially racy(who knows if Villeneuve is really up to it -- he has not traditionally been a fast practicer or tester), Schumacher and Ferrari apparently off the pace, and Williams, McClaren and BAR who knows where. The new multi race engine and limited tire change rules may have shaken things up a lot.
I guess it will all have to wait until qualifying and the race to see how it will shake out. I hope I am sufficiently recovered from my recent cold/flu bout to stay up and watch the race.
