Back from a week in Paris (I won a contest to go see this guy at Bobin'o). A bit embarrassing as I didn't really know who he was until I won the contest. Pat and I were it seems the only anglophones in the group as well so that made it slightly difficult. But the show was good, the people friendly and we managed with our lack of French skills, so all in all not so bad. I have posted a slew of photos on Flickr of the trip.
Seems like this is not such a bad time to visit Paris. No line up at museums, major attractions, restaurants are not overcrowded. The downside is that you have to put up with a little cold (mild by Toronto standards though). Not a bad trade off.
