The real story on the blocking of YouTube.com over the weekend is not that Pakistan ordered blocking of the site, nor that ISPs in Pakistan responded by blocking the site, but that a "mistake" in configuration by an ISP was able to make the YouTube.com site unavailable worldwide.
It seems that if it is this easy to block a site world wide, that anybody with malicious intent could do the same thing to other any site at an inappropriate time and cause havoc. Is this the ultimate DOS attack vector?
