Rob Clevenger, one of the product managers I work with in JDeveloper started a series of columns in Oracle Magazine covering all aspects of Java development on linux. The first article covers the absolute basics - getting Java onto your Linux machine. It's a great first article (the techy in me likes reading articles with this much detail), and hopefully the first of many.
