My Jinni and Elizabeth Edwards were diagnosed with the same brand of breast cancer about a month apart. Their courses of treatment and prognosis have mirrored one another ever since, including the successful mass reduction of their tumors which was the aim of their pre-surgery (neoadjuvant) chemotherapies.
Elizabeth's lumpectomy was performed earlier this week and I am glad to read she is recovering nicely. Here's to keeping that mirroring thing going.

Update: Since you have to buy U.S. Postage stamps anyway, you might as well buy these. First issued in 1998, this stamp has raised over $38M for breast cancer research. The little extra it costs over regular first class postage may prevent you or someone you love from having to go through what Jinni, Elizabeth, and so many others are currently enduring.

JINNI'S JOURNAL
Jinni was contacted by the Greensboro News &Record to write a periodic column during her battle with breast cancer. Jinni hopes that her experiences will help others understand the process of getting through the disease. Online versions of her columns are below. Check back for updates.
