Yeah, I know about the upcoming fundraiser for my family. The initial group of organizers obtained our blessings before proceeding. I've just been a bit too humbled to say anything about it .
All I can offer is a big thank you to everyone who has had, or will have, anything to do with organizing, planning, or attending what will surely be a very wonderful event. Well... there is one more thing I can say... we promise to do the same for you if you ever need it.
The one stipulation we have placed upon what may soon be known as HoggFest is this: The effort should become recognized as an annual affair. Each subsequent year should be of benefit to some cause that is deemed important by those involved. As you might expect, Jinni is insisting that next year's event be a fundraiser for a cause such as Greensboro's own Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test.
