She spent seven nights in the snow after getting lost while hunting elk, reports the Oregonian as posted at LDS Newsline.  A nasty snowstorm hit the area just after she got lost in a canyon, alone, while hunting, hampering rescuer workers, friends, and LDS ward members out searching for her.  She later lost both legs below the knees due to frostbite.  Ironically, the very elk she was hunting probably saved her by punching through ice on the nearby river, allowing her to drink water at one point in the ordeal.

Oh yeah, the angels.  Quiet, helpful, do good works and bless a life angels.  Earth to God: Send more of these.  Hileman believes her survival was miraculous. The former home health worker says that during her struggle to survive, two angels appeared and remained with her, radiating warmth and keeping her from dying of hypothermia.  "The best way to describe it was two golden bright lights, just in the shape of two people," she said. They appeared on the second night after she began to pray for help, they never spoke and disappeared at daylight, but they were with her every night until she was rescued, she said.    10:13:45 PM

If simply attending BYU is not enough to keep you "physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight" for life, you can now get a double dose of moral sobriety by majoring in Scouting.  BYU Newsnet notes the new degree is offered by the Recreation Management and Youth Leadership department.  Funny, I would have guessed Religion.  No doubt incoming gay students are strongly encouraged to avoid this new major, focusing instead on the traditionally more tolerant departments in the arts and social sciences. 9:32:15 PM
