How do we apply life's rule to our own lives?

Since the rule is "whatsoever you give, you receive," we can start giving what we want to receive.  Simple, yes?

But it takes practice.  That's why it's best to start now.  Start today by thinking about it and observing how it might work in your life.

Every time to choose to act, think about how you would like for that to happen to you.  Think about it even before you act.  Then think about receiving that action, immediately after you have taken that action.

See why it takes practice?  It is not something you do naturally--or do you?

Perhaps it is actually the natural state, but we have just forgotten.  Have we just lost focus on life's basic rule?  Do we see events like this as ironic--rather than realistic?

If so, don't make any drastic changes in your actions.  Just think about it and observe.  Then write about what you have learned--write in the morning and keep your writings as a baseline for your progress.

It's Thanksgiving in the US.  Time off from work and school.  It's time to escape to the movies.  The big screen is ready with stories galore - love, war, intrigue, family, mystery, history.  All escape from reality--or is it?

Dig deeper as the images, music, characters, plots wash over you. Do you see a common pattern in the great movies?  In searching for the common patterns, there is one theme that dominates the most powerful plots.

Whatever action a person takes, it comes back to haunt.

Whenever a person gives, he/she receives.

In Underworld (vampires vs. werewolves), the pain given is returned, even 600 years later.  Love given is returned.  Lives saved are repaid.

Is that not our own reality?  If we have not seen it in our own lives, it is only that we have not lived long enough.  Perhaps the best moves are distillations of life, demonstrated in less than 2 hours. What we see in life around us, the movies show us patterns over the years in a matter of minutes.

So brush aside the details and see.  See that one, strong life rule--whatever you give, you shall receive.  It's not just the movies, it's reality.
