Classic Appliances

My dictionary defines nostalgia as "longing for something past," and I bet you didn't know that some people long for the sight of bygone household appliances. Do you often wish you could see your old family washer, freezer, or stove of 1956?

Relief is at hand: the Classic Automatic Appliance Museum and Library has assembled some great pictures and trivia about these modern conveniences of yesteryear. Thrill to pictures of them in action! Learn more than you thought possible about home mechanics!

Is it just me, or does that opening animation remind anyone else of a night at the South 6th Street Drive-In?
