SVS 50th Reunion At our 45th reunion in 2003, groups from Butler and Dubois visited their grade schools, and some of us lamented that we could not return in 2004 to mark our 50th anniversary of grade-school graduation, in 1954. The alums from Southern View School held just such a reunion in early July. Last year they formed a committee, consisting of Diane Gurgens Urbanckas, Judy Coates Cockayne, Evelyn Brooks Schumacher, and Janet Frederick. (Another member was Jeannette Davis Froschauer, who died 4 January 2004.) With a great deal of detective work, they managed to trace most of their classmates and all but 10 showed up for the Reunion.
