I do not get it (again) According to the following article Longhorn will run Linux applications: http://www.itweek.co.uk/news/1156587 So if Longhorn runs Linux applications, why don't I just buy Linux applications now and run them on Linux? And if I am running them on Linux, why would I splash out the $$'s to by Longhorn? And if my clients can run my Linux applications on Longhorn, why don't I just write Linux applications rather than Windows applications which only run on Windows? I don't believe that MS is stupid, so if there is any truth to this whatsoever then does this mean that Linux has won? Before the battle has even started... comments? [] 12:46:24 PM ![]() |
