Fame?

Kylara kept on trying to convince us that we needed to go the Upper Hutt art gallery.

We couldn't understand why she was suddenly so keen on art. We resisted the strident urges to go and look at the pictures. We never asked her to explain why she so badly wanted to go.

It was only when she brought this picture of hers home from school, and we saw that it had a very professional label on it, that light began to slowly dawn.

Yes, the picture on the left had been selected for public display. And we never knew until it had been returned to us for custodial safekeeping.

So to atone for our poor parenting (and our feelings of guilt) we offer it here, on public display once more.
