I'm back! Back in the Wellington groove...

We are newly returned from holiday in South Africa. The holiday crept up on us unexpectedly, and then pounced on us, cat like in its playfulness. And it was a wonderful holiday! Over a month without e-mail, without the Internet, away from the bothers of my work place. With a computer that was only used to manage our photographs. Bliss indeed.

For the record, the cause of the holiday was Terry's younger brother announcing that he was going to get married. At short notice. And we just had to be there. And so we went. It was very hectic, rushed and once there we were never entirely in control of what we were doing, having to fit around the fluid wedding plans. So sadly we didn't get to see all of our friends.

But we did see all of our family, and we managed to see some of our friends. We had some very memorable times with them. I will try and write up some of the events and experiences from our holiday over the next few days. But at the moment it sure is good to be back in the Wellington groove!
