A poem a day? Dry winter branches brown, Yep, my first daily effort. See, I realise that I've been a little on the lazy side. The following two articles have helped me focus my mind no end: The first asks "do you have a blog"? Here is the kicker - the comment "they are starting to make communications and writing part of a basic set of habits". Yes, Dan. I know I have left large gaps in this site. I have seen the error of my ways. I will do better and make this blog a bigger part of my basic habits. The second reports on an (apocryphal?) experiment in which one group of art students was asked to produce by quality and another group of art students was asked to produce by quantity. Those who were asked to produce by quantity created works of a higher quality than those who where asked to produce by quality. Or, put another way, practise does indeed make perfect. Who would have guessed? comments? [] 1:09:51 PM ![]() |
