And another thing... Thinking about yesterdays post: if I am ever going to buy a software company, remind me to examine the state of its relations with its customers before I spend my hard earned cash. Given my rants over the last few weeks about the coming storm in the enterprise space I find myself wondering why the venture capital firm FranciscoPartners would buy Goldmine . A CRM, I believe. If so, right at the centre of the storm. Do FranciscoPartners know something that the rest of us don't? There are several odd connections here: FranciscoPartners bought the legal practise management product I used to work on from Solution 6, Goldmine was owned by a South African company that a good friend of mine used to work for. "Used to" being the operative word in both cases. Although I think that Dan came out a few hops, skips and far better touched by the angel of good fortune than I! Update: The day after writing this I found: "Hosted CRM is King" comments? [] 9:53:56 PM ![]() |
