Hurricane Emily Update 200500Z

At midnight CDT the center of Hurricane Emily was at 24.5 North 96.8 West, 100 miles south-southeast of Matamoros Mexico.  The eye is wobbling, but overall motion is to the west at 8 mph.  A westward motion of about 10 mph is expected to begin this morning and continue through the day.  Maximum sustained winds are 125 mph and minimum central pressure is 943 millibars (27.85").

Brownsville's radar loop has been offering the sight of Emily's eye wobbling inside of the broader counterclockwise circulation; it appears that an outer eyewall is forming.  This should keep intensification in check for the rest of Emily's life.
