T-6
Here's a couple of photos taken last weekend of the T-6 flying from Delaware to Oshkosh. Ray Fowler was flying the T-6, Janet was flying the 210 alongside, and John Hopkins took the photos, which somehow have the look of old colour photos about them. The aeroplane will be unveiled in the Museum on Wednesday evening, by two of the original Tuskegee Airmen. A mystery has arisen in the past week because there are actually two T-6s around that both claim to be the same aircraft that flew at Tuskegee in WW2. The fact is that both have a proper, original dataplate with the same serial number on. Weird. They were both remanufactured at the same time in 1951 so the answer probably lies back there somewhere.
