OK, I'm still watching Dennis Miller from time to time.

Tonight, his first guest was Eric Alterman. Eric took him to the mat. It was great to watch. Miller had to resort of making fun of him, and even then Alterman pre-empted him and in the end Miller just looked flat and uninspired.

If you can, catch one of the reruns later tonight.

Yeah, Microsoft has a lot of people working on user interface design for our products. This is so that dumb stuff like this doesn't happen. And this is why simply cloning the Windows shell will never get the Linux community to a position where they cna claim the desktop -- because the people cloning it don't understand all the nuances that go into designing it right.

User interface design is hard. Very hard. Go to CHI 2004. Learn.
