I just got a postcard in the mail... my favorite high school teacher, Bob Morrish (aka Bullet Bob) is getting roasted on Saturday. They have created a whole web site for the occassion. They have a bulletin board where former students (25 years of them) can write comments and tell their favorite stories about him.

Mr. Morrish was, and is, a legend. He was an incedibly demanding teacher. He was also more than a little off his rocker. Go read some of the stories... they'll give you only a small flavor of what the guy is like. And they'll give you a really good idea of how much his students loved him... despite the fact that he terrorized us all (all in good fun).

My friend Laura is taking the trip of a lifetime. She rented a flat in Paris for three months.

Of course, when she arrived she was greeted with snow. Not exactly the tyical Paris in the Spring.

But things seem to be thawing, and she's getting out and exploring now. You can read about her exploits here.
