I'm reading that Palm will finally unveil its new operating system at CES next month. People are just guessing right now, but the company has launched a new application store. Maybe my next phone will be another Palm.
Leo over at Zen Habits offers this advice (gleaned from Thich Naht Hanh) "Smile, breathe and go slowly" as he ran a personal best time in a marathon. Good thing to remember all the time. When I forget that little mantra, I'm always out of balance, irritable and edgy. Thanks, Leo, for reminding us of the simple things that make life better.
I've recently read a couple of different blogs where the author is trying out a stand up desk. I've tried a few times over the years, but this time I invested some time to build up something more substantial and give it a real go. My political intellectual hero Thomas Jefferson used one, as did Winston Churchill, among many others. They say you have to do it a few days to get into the groove. This is day one. We'll see how it goes. (It is more comfortable to type with correct hand posture.)
