Fed up with life in the UK we moved to France for a new start. Left behind the private schooling, traffic jams and housing estates for a better quality of life. We now live in Brittany, France running gites (holiday cottages).

Saint Monique
Mole deterrent ? Only one small mole hill this morning, mind you it was only a couple of meters from the ultrasonic beeper. I'll give it a few more days before passing judgement.
Bought both the Le Petit Bleu and Ouest France today, but nothing. Ah well we can live without the fame.

These are our experiences of running a gite business in Brittany, France. A gite is the French equivalent of a country holiday cottage. French culture, language, taxes and bureaucracy.
