Gite Bookings
Normally we get lots of enquires and booking for our gites during January for people wanting Summer holidays. This season things seem to have started a couple of days earlier than usual with interest in the gites already increasing even before the New Year. I think it is most probably because the holiday companies have already started advertising on the television and it has reminded people to book their summer holidays. Traditionally TV adverts for holidays usually show after the New Year but like everything these days, it is starting earlier and earlier. I've also noticed more holiday cottage, villa and gite type property advertising rather than the traditional 'package' holiday to Spain offers. The market does seem to be changing towards more independent tailored holidays rather than 'one size fits all'. Great news for the gite business.
