Well, it's been a while since I've had the chance to post to the blog. Everyone has probably given up reading by now. Between work, wedding, and school, I haven't had a chance to post. There have been several things that I've wanted to put up for public consideration, but that just hasn't happened. We've been working the last 14 months on the weddign so that everything would be done by the week before the big event. So far, everything is on schedule. Actually, we even have tickets for tomorrow's Cubs vs Red Sox game that will be on ESPN (7pm Central). Keep an eye out for us. I will be the guy in the guy in the blue Cubs hat. Just a couple quick things: We were happy to see that Double Door will remain open. I also wanted to put up a post about thus NPR/PBS urban legend that is circulated. Ironically, the original email is an urban legend, but there has been talk about pressure to cut NPR & PBS funding. Some legends come true! Last week, I really wanted to post something about the Supreme Courts ruling on medical marijuana. I think that the Fed's law against it is wrong, but I think that the court ruled correctly. The government has the authority to make a law like this. However, the thing that I wanted to post was about the hypocrisy of many conseravatives who call for states' rights on things like gun control, but then push national laws for things like medical marijuana onto states where they have passed such local laws. Inconsistent? Yes. I have a list of photos that I've been meaning to share with everyone, but that just hasn't happened yet. Maybe tonight? Check back sometime. Finally, I got my hair cut today.
